Thanks to TWCDutch and his wingman and Boo...and Nishizwa
« on: December 09, 2013, 12:47:05 PM »
Had a great fight with Dutch and his wingman yesterday near some base...Had a few enemies there and Dutch showed up with his wingman in 109F's and we had a great fight. F4U came in after a BUNCH of twists and turns and over shoots and got me...but it was a blast of a fight even losing.

Had another awesome fight with a pony..(never did find out who it was) and finally lost to Boo in a 190...but it was again a blast. Twisting and turning my pony , dropping flaps , chopping the throttle...dodge a shot and get a shot here and there....Think it was Boo's 190 , an F4U and the pony....just a great time.

Nish and I had a really good pony v pony fight...he shot me to pieces finally but it was also a great fight.

Thanks to you guys for the great fights...As I don't play near as much as I used to it was a great time. 3 awesome fights in the MA (from what I hear) isn't the norm....so I was happy to be involved in them even though I got whooped.

Take Care

Redtop...  I too ran into you this past weekend.  You and Bosco were working well together.  I almost got a snapshot, but my marksmanship isn't the best and you got away.  That was one time I wished I was in my 47-M instead of that wallowing C-Hog..

Game is at it's best when you go  :uhoh this guy knows wtf he is doing and then you scissor for 5 minutes grinding flaps and working very hard at the controls to reverse the situation.

Redtop, what made for a great fight in my opinion is the lack of picking for the most part. At one point several of us 'bad' guys saw you going 1 v 1, and we left it alone. As others came into the fight we began to clean up. At one point I could see three separate 1 v 1s, all within visual of each other, and everyone just left alone.

I know, not what is suppose to happen with hordes going on...but it did!

Great time had by all. Losing in a 1 v 1 is sad but exilerating, I've lost plenty 1 v 1s. Losing in a 1 v 1 because a dozen pickers gang-tard...well that's just not sporting.

<S> Boo!!!  Oh losing the fight was fine man....It turned into more than I expected...I think before you got me I had that pony ...took alot of work to get him in front of me...I have no idea the moves made or what theyre called...I just went with a move here...did something there...and finally got him to over shoot and was getting ready....dodging you and that F4U a couple times just added to all the excitment...(I think it was an F4U)..and after all was said and done I was tired!!!  LOLOLOL  Was a most excellent time and I had no bad feelings at all about anything done in that fight done by anyone....just a blast!!!

I pick...I've "extended" and I've won and lost .....everytime in the last couple of years I just don't care much. I thinkk not playing like I used to just gives me moreof a I dont care attitude now...I sucked when I played alot....I suck worst now and could care less....Good fights here and there are a TON of fun and I appreciate them more than I used to.

<S> again Sir...look forward to running into you sometime again!!!

whilst we are having a group hug  I'd also like to say thanks to mir in his P51 vs jug M.  Gave me the best fight in ages with 2 even aircraft when the fight started out with me assuming he was going to dive and run for the hills like a typical runstang, boy was I nearly caught with my pants down.

<S> Right back at you, Bruv!  That was one of the best fights I've been a part of in a long time!  No matter what I did, I couldn't get an angle for a shot, and you worked that Jug perfectly.  At the end of the fight, when I finally ran out of oil, ran out of lift, and was going to auger, I actually tried to drop my gear to 'bounce' off of the ground for one last go around, but that didn't happen.   :lol

Gems like that really make the game enjoyable for me. :)

I remember going into that fight thinking this could shape up to be a lot of fun... It definitely lived up to that expectation!   Two D ponies, co-alt....12k ish.....no HOing ... twisting and twirling all the way to the deck.... It doesn't get much better than that! :salute sir, I look forward to the next one!
