If I remember right Canada's sons suffered higher losses per capita then any allied nation in Europe during WW2.

They fought well ; They fought bravely, and many didnt make it back. So I'll be one of the ones who dont chuckle at this.

I REALLY hope he linked the wrong video.

Otherwise there is something wrong if the OP thinks he can use that video to make a joke about it.

Meh.. Aside from the customary technological oversights that hollywood notoriously misses, I think this is referring to an obscure renaissance period in France's history.

About as funny as a four day weather forecast.   Joke or not, Dieppe was a tragedy and 900+ Canadians were KIA.

OMG...could you guys lighten up. By this weak logic I can't crack jokes about my jarhead friends, or squids, or the highly organized Boy Scouts among us, aka Air Force dweebs. They all took casualties in WW2 and beyond, so no jokes?!

I've trained with Canadian armor at NTC-Fort Irwin. Good crew, I think they would get a good military laugh out of this and respond with a YouTube video of something American. Heck, all they would have to do is post a link to Walmart photos and win the contest.
