Unless a nuke pops, anywhere, by anyone.

The 'end of the Cold War' was a false sense of comfort to many.

Having said that, I've seen those either eager for or waiting for Armageddon (my ex being one). You'd think that would make the top of the list when it comes to sin. Never-mind that some of these types are getting elected to high public office. I reckon some of the 'hallelujahs' would end up spitting out bitter disappointment that they either weren't raptured, after-all, or that they weren't close enough to ground zero to avoid a slower, miserable end of their mortal days. Which is why I don't run with that giddy bit o' stupid.
