You guys know the unintended consequence is you will drive away the late night unskilled players because they will have no way to avoid you except logging off?

Their experience will become one of every time they up, a small hungry herd of lions will be waiting to turn their game experience into a bazar frustrating bad time. Most of them cannot, nor want to conceive of how you do what you do so very extremely well. They are paying for some fun and the fantasy of flying around doing what you do.

Guess you don't believe in conserving your source of "hunting game" to not kill the goose laying this egg.

I suspect short of posting nasty customer letters, there is no real way to tell how many in these economic times have chosen other venues than be eaten by the slightly more concentrated lions every time they up during the low numbers time in the MA these days. At least those remaining can avoid the nightly big furball because the 12 hour rule limits the participation to one side of the map.

You won't force them to become what they are not by killing their fun over and over and over. As a result, fewer subscriptions.

Ask for Hitech to add a function that can be set to player numbers, or a timer that reduces the play area down to a 10x10 or 8x8 center of the map saving all of the full map positions for the later re-expansion. Or your greed will drive out the last remaining players during late night who most are not ACM gauwds, nor care to be. Or the 5% of you can make use of that arena Hitech built just for your uber abilities called: The DA.

But, then if it was really about good quality fights, the DA would be packed with the 5% screaming to each other to get your kesters in there and away from the lameo MA fodder. This is really about feeding the fix once you are in feeding mode frenzy.

I have a solution. It's called throw yourself at the best players. Keep fighting and fighting till one day you start beating them. (Now if only I could beat my teachers)

sorry but it is fact.....many players will only engage when they have no chance of losing....

when 5 cons hit the deck and run to ack because a lone Ki84 appears.....something is wrong with the player base.

when 15 guys think that it is cool to attack 1 lone con...or would rather sit over a field and vulch...something is wrong with the player base......

when players would rather sit behind an enemy hanger and shoot the tanks as they spawn....something is wrong with the player base.....

when players would rather attack a field with 40-50 guys...NOE so they cant be seen......or call cheat when someone happens to find them....something is wrong with the players base.....


but in reality it is not the "player base" so much it is the way this country is and how people are in general now a days....

now a days you go to a "game" you get a trophy just for showing up....or you get rewards just for taking off...... rolleyes

the game play has been steadily going down hill.... I have been here since tour 52....if some say it hasn't..... then they need to get out of the green hord and see for themselves.(because yes there have always been hoards)

i perfer a 3hr side switch time,or even a 6hr..but since i only switched sides twice this year--and i don't switch sides to find a fight.just for a change of pace .it doesen't really matter to me

It's a bad world wide economy and the quality of people is exactly the same as 7 years ago. Not the numbers. You don't have the excess of those interested in what makes your goat get wood. You have smaller numbers so the proportions are more stark to the realities of what interests human beings. Seven years ago 5% of the daily arena population was quite large. Enough so you could spend inordinate amounts of time in the DA and still find 5%ers in the MA late at night.

Not now.

It's easy to tell them to suck it up and get another plane to feed themselves to you. It's harder to accept the reality of the times and suck it up with patience for the world to move along.

It's lame to blame them because you are unhappy.

gee I don't know....maybe when I clicked on the link of Aces high and downloaded the game...I expected to find other people who enjoyed Arial Combat.......for a long time thats exactly what I got.....very few people ran...yes there were hordes for sure....and pickers who ran........ but 99% any time you saw a lone con or 2 they fought.....not so much anymore.

That is a form of being a coward. Or in the real world a bully, or cyber bully in cyber space.

You won't take responsibility for your emotions and blame others instead. Then attack them as a scape goat for your unhappiness which is the act of a coward. Being good at something does not grant you the right to attack others because you wimp out on taking responsibility for your own unhappiness. Being good at something does not make you morally superior in the world, or with in the kiddy cartoon environment you happen to go piu, piu, piu really good. Just makes you lame when you attempt to leverage it into your only moral prop to hide behind.
