That is a form of being a coward. Or in the real world a bully, or cyber bully in cyber space.

You won't take responsibility for your emotions and blame others instead. Then attack them as a scape goat for your unhappiness which is the act of a coward. Being good at something does not grant you the right to attack others because you wimp out on taking responsibility for your own unhappiness. Being good at something does not make you morally superior in the world, or with in the kiddy cartoon environment you happen to go piu, piu, piu really good. Just makes you lame when you attempt to leverage it into your only moral prop to hide behind.

What are y'alls opinions on the 12 hour rule?


I wouldn't mind seeing it go down to 3-6 hours for US Prime-Time (perhaps lower for Euro Prime-Time).  I agree, that you should be able to switch to the lowest side.  To counter this 'lower side switch timer' perhaps add a penalty like what was suggested before.  No control of CVs for x amount of time, no ords for x amount of time (or whatever).   But I think that we should at least be able to switch to the lowest populated side out of the 3 at any time.   I think that if someone wants to switch to a lower populated side, that they want a fight (more red guys).  If they have a 'hidden agenda', that is their business, and I haven't found any possible 'hidden agendas'.

So, what do you guys think of this?

To offer perspective, the 12 hr rule was a result of paranoia and endless whining.

sorry bud...but you are wrong.....

Hitech himself said....it was 12 hrs before they switched to 2 arenas with 1 hr switch times..........when they switched back to 1 arena......they neglected to change it back to 12 hrs.....eventually they did go back to 12 hrs.....thats why it is 12 hrs now.....


and now with game dynamics, with more people about the "war" and few people who actually enjoy combat....the game is chock full of runners... ACK fighters.....and gangers....(hey it is there 15$)....the ones who enjoy actually Arial Combat are getting the virtual shaft.

sorry but it is fact.....many players will only engage when they have no chance of losing....

when 5 cons hit the deck and run to ack because a lone Ki84 appears.....something is wrong with the player base.

when 15 guys think that it is cool to attack 1 lone con...or would rather sit over a field and vulch...something is wrong with the player base......

when players would rather sit behind an enemy hanger and shoot the tanks as they spawn....something is wrong with the player base.....

when players would rather attack a field with 40-50 guys...NOE so they cant be seen......or call cheat when someone happens to find them....something is wrong with the players base.....


but in reality it is not the "player base" so much it is the way this country is and how people are in general now a days....

now a days you go to a "game" you get a trophy just for showing up....or you get rewards just for taking off...... rolleyes

the game play has been steadily going down hill.... I have been here since tour 52....if some say it hasn't..... then they need to get out of the green hord and see for themselves.(because yes there have always been hoards)

i agree with you ink.and i have done the camping the hanger thing-while waiting on m3 wtroops to capture the base.and i have spawn camped..although i preferr open field fighting..i prefer to drive out to hunt for gv's--or ambushing.last night i did both.i gv and camp like alot of others do..i'm a bomb tard.i'm a ho'er win i fly...but the campee don't have to keep spawning--and the ho'ee can always turn away.--i think i may have gotten off topic...yes your right a lot of people need and advantage--but you look -alot of that is during an attempted base take..but like a certin bish player and a certin rook player-seems they need all the help they can get..

I remember a long time ago I got into a GV and followed some guy.....I was very new at the game....I watched this guy park behind a hanger and kill like 40+ tanks.......

I towered out in disgust.  still feel the same way, except even more strongly about how that type of game play(not just GVs vulching is the same) is truly what is wrong with the player base and one of the main reasons the numbers have fallen....

I'm not the one whining about how others play this game today behind the moral canard that their personal abilities in the game grant them a superior pulpit over those they define publicly less worthy than themselves.

Since you conceded in a later posting that the game has changed or evolved into far more play styles than just air combat. It's obvious they don't want to be followed around being poached by your fellow cadre at will. Since there are more of them keeping the light bill paid than your cadre. Allowing you and your cadre to hound them with side jumping in very short intervals, will cause them to vote with their pocket books. As is, they simply vote with their choice of locations in the arena and keep submitting $14.95 each month.

This is a game in which Hitech has maintained the ability for players to express "free association". Even down to the level of who they want shooting at them. Seems to work since the light bill keeps getting paid on time.

I thought the DA was so you blood and guts types didn't have to associate with all of the lesser mortals in the game.....
