Sunday's Packer Game
« on: December 20, 2013, 07:55:55 PM »
4-6 inches of snow falling in Green Bay during game time Sunday, can Flynn pull a W against Pitt?

I hope so!

Would Rodgers come back to play the Bears to get into the playoffs?

Should be a fun game. Go stillers.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Won't be as much fun as the Eagle-Lions game because of the heated tundra, the snow won't stick.  Unless I guess its falling too fast that it does, but I doubt it, they'll just turn up the heat.  Btw the Eagles-Lions game got over 8 inches in the 3 hours of the game as measured on the sidelines.

Imagine that? The play off spot being decided on the last day of the season by the oldest rivalry in the NFL?

Mano y mano against the hated Pack. For all the marbles. Both teams suck, as does Detroit, but it will make for great theater.

I dont think Greenbay sucks.  I think Sunday should be a win, but the following week in Chiago against the Bears will be tough without Rodgers.

I'm a Lions fan, and the Lions have to feel like idiots.  Losing 4 of 5 down the stretch where only 1 more win and they would be in the drivers seat next week, 2 wins and they would have already clinched.  And they had the easiest remaining schedule in the NFL after they beat the Bears to go 4-1 in the division.  Some housecleaning is in order, because these teams have had second-half-season collapses far too often, last year was 0-8.

Man that was a crazy game to watch.  I don't know how the QBs could see the receivers downfield
as the snow was so heavy the tv cams were about useless  :D

Your kidding right? Lacy is going to rip thru the Bears defense like it is Swiss cheese. I switched the Bear game off at halftime cause I just cant watch that kind of defensive play. Im totally disgusted with watching this defense.

GB couldnt have an easier opponent next week. My money is on the Pack. Its one thing to have bad stats on defense but the Bears dont even show up 1/2 the time.

The NFC north is an embarrassment. Did you see that offside penalty by the Pack during that Pitt FG attempt late in the game? My God thats just as dumb as you can get.

But, in typical Steeler fashion we still gave you guys a chance to tie or win at the end of the game. Over the past two years, I would have expected to go to OT and lose thst game... lol

Look at the bright side.  You all could be Ravens fans and hanging your head in shame after that embarassment yesterday.  Not that I expected a win against the Pats...but I did not expect a crushing defeat.

Ah well....it's a rebuilding year.  :aok

With the Bears its the lack of commitment and leadership that sets my teeth on edge. The same could be said about the Cowboys, while the Pack at least has the excuse of having their most important player injured. Bear fans are not used to seeing this kind of defense and this kind of tackling. I could count on my two hands the number of times I even saw the linebackers in the camera view during running plays last night.
