Well, that picture was included in the chain you linked to and I believe you noticed it too, the Nuremberg Rally 1937. I've seen that picture before and it has made me think about the psychological power of masses surrounding one individual. Imagine yourself standing in the middle of that crowd, sent there with a time machine and knowing what now is history. What would you do when they all shout "Heil!" and raise their hand? I bet you'd do as the others, feeling puzzled and ashamed afterwards. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that in that crowd might have been many Jews, too.
