Oh man, I remember those days. The whole MAW thing with the goons was hilarious. IvegotthegoonMAW.  :rofl :aok
Forget the name goon. Refer to it as "the thingy that should not be shot down because it is of minor importance and is most certainly not carrying troops"  :old:

:huh What makes you think that's in the slightest bit alright? Because you are squad mates?

...because it's hilarious?

only a moron would use Dolby positioning in a game.

Why use an exterior program that interrupts your game datastream if the game already has vox?

vox is very laggy for some of us and range chat over rides channel chat or vice versa. Also it gets buffered quite a bit.

Team speak sounds better as well. We use a TS server for the squad and turn down in game audio to make TS a priority. Helps out a lot when you have people bantering over range about a 262 in the area.

I have my own TS server and use it on occasion, tho' mostly for other games and not AH.  I do agree TS helps with squad co-ordination and solves the issues of vox chatter and delays. I've not seen any issues with TS causing lag or connection issues with AH but that all depends on the connection to the ISP so YMMV.

Is your server active 24/7?  Might want to give it a try 2 night for AH

Likely won't be anyone on it tonight as my son goes back to school tomorrow so he won't be using it for Arma.  I can hop on and if you want feel free to have a few join. I currently have a limit of 10 however.

FYI - renting TS servers can be petty cheap.  I think I pay less than $10.00 every three months for mine.
