End of an era
« on: January 03, 2014, 06:19:20 PM »
Cheers,

It was a very exciting night when I first encountered Aces High. It was magical.

We were a couple of friends and I, we were just being ourselves.

We shot down some planes, we got shot down each in graphical.

We flew some more with just us to find that we were outgunned out of shelves.

It took us a month and some to find out there's some other Finns that fly as we would.

We learned from the best - Wmaker and the rest - and flied as could we would.

Me, I was friends with some of the very best, I flew against Shane and Furball,

still  I did get shot down in the furball.

We couldn't avoid the reset by Skuzzy,

when all the harddrives were SCSI.

With regards to Oldman731, Flyboy16, Wetrat, Slash27, the Finns, Mister Fork, my Swedish friends, Nilsen, the rest of my friends (Wurze!l, Bruv, Schatzi, Schutt), some! of the Blue Knights, all of whom I have shot down and the multitude whom have shot me down! And the HTC crew of course!

Sorry that my first isn't English, I could have honed that verse.

Thanks to all I've flown against in these 13+ years, I'll be back if I've got time! <S>

edit: forgot my CM team time, <S> to Roc, Brooke et al. in the CM Staff. And <S> to all I served with in the AvA Staff.

I'll be back if I've got time!

Let me help you with that:  You have time.  You just have to eliminate some of the other things that take your attention away from the game.

What is it that's drawing your attention now, Panzzer?

And as always, it's great flying with - or against - you.

Hiya Oldman,

it's my wife and my son that are keeping me from the game currently. As you should know. ;)

Best regards,
Riku aka Panzzer

It was always fun in the arena with you and the rest of the Finns around Panzer.

Enjoy your family. This game will still be here when you're ready to come back.
Easy in-game again.

Riku, you have always been such a gentleman and I am truly sorry to see you go.  Having a wife and daughter that also consume time, however, I do understand that you must make some important things a priority at times.
You will be missed, and expect a warm welcome when you catch your breath and make it back.
Don't stray far.

Nothing clever here.  Please, move along.
