I was working on this DVII when my hard drive died and I lost all my AH stuff a year or two ago.  Thinking about giving it another go.

I may be asking a dumb question, but why do we not have this skin? Do we not have this model of plane in WWI arena?

to answer lookey....in a  few words...its because the  colors on the dr-1 replica in your picture are not accurate..........that color scheme is often said to be manfred von richtofens dr-1 he was killed in.....the machine he was killed in was   425/17  and his dr-1 with that number was first painted completely red....later the vertical stab and rudder were painted white....with the rest of the machine painted red.thats how it was when he was  killed,it did not have a white cowl as often depicted and reproduced. confirmed by eyewitness testimony.  the red baron actually flew about 7 different dr-1's and not all were red some had their paint changed as did 425/17. go here to see them http://www.fokkerdr1.com/Profiles/Profile_MIKHAIL%20BYKOV.htm
dr-1's that ritchtofen flew were ..  102/17, 114/17, 127/17, 152/17, 161/17, 425/17, 477/17

I mostly just grabbed that picture as a reference not for its historical accuracy. I was wondering why we didn't have a Red Barron paint scheme.  :headscratch: Would like to see several of the paint schemes shown in your link.  :aok
