Freeze Account Ability
« on: January 07, 2014, 02:28:53 PM »
Many many things have happened in the past week, none of them good.  My subscription to Aces High is in jeopardy because of these events. So I was thinking this (been asked before), perhaps HTC could have a system of when a player wants to stay with Aces High but either can't afford it or gets bored and wants to take a break - but not lose everything (name perks etc).    I think it would be cool if HTC added an account ability where the owner of the account could contact HTC and ask for their account to be freezed.  Meaning the name and perks would be kept safe for a period of time. I was thinking this period of time would be 6 to 12 months. If the account owner doesn't re-subscribe by then, the account is deleted like normal.

I just don't want to lose my name, and I haven't been able to spend my perks yet, so I don't want to lose those either :)

Really tough times right now. Keyboard died, net card might have died in my computer, or perhaps it's the comcast adapter we use, no conclusion yet. And no income (nor a way to get any) as of now.

The only way I am able to send this is because the local library's computers are up and running, but only for today and tomorrow. (And I won't be here tomorrow). So, I just wanted to update you guys. I won't be able to read or respond to this until I get my computer fixed.

Meaning my computer upgrade is posponed yet again   :furious

Happy new year everyone, I hope it's better for you than it has been for me so far :)

Have you contacted HTC and asked him what you are asking for here?

I don't know about freezing an account for financial hardship reason, but when I deployed a couple of years ago HiTec was good enough to hold my account till I came home. As stated above, give them a call :old:

if you dont have a job, you can still make money. just be creative.  pick up scrap metal from the side of the road,or put trash bags at local business for aluminum cans, collect deposit from cans if your in one of those states,or bring them to scrap yard for cash, shovel snow, cut grass, trim bushes for locals. if your in a rural area and you say you cant do any of that. go to a farm and work for a day, pick up road kills, skin them, brain tan the hides and sell them, cut firewood, pick animal antler sheds and sell them, wash someones car, work for a labor ready organization, they pay cash daily, theres always some way to make money, and i have done them all.just because you dont work for anybody else...dosent mean you cant make money.
