Really looking forward to the new graphics and the new plane (even though it won't be my Do 217 ;) )... but I admit: To the decentralised factories:  not so much

Will the sun be fixed so the horizon is no longer centered on your current altitude?
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

What would be next on the line? :headscratch:
I was referring to the fact that the B-26B is the last 3D model left in the game from the original release of AH, version 1.00.  Next patch all of the original models will have been updated.

I thought the Ju-88 was an AH1 model as well, no :headscratch:?

I was wondering what would the next planes that would be due for update.  110, Ju-88, 164, Ar 234, etc.

I was wondering if HTC get rid of some of the check boxes in the graphics setup since many things have zero performance hit even on a slow system like mine.

Do we really need a check box to disable bump map terrain?

I talked to some of these guys that run high end systems yet they have thier graphics set up such that it looks like warbirds beta.

They do this so they can see GV from nealy half a sector away.

Yes, but not v1.00.  The Ju88 was added in v1.04.

With the B-26 being updated the remaining AH1 3D models will be:

A-20G
Ar234B
B5N2
Bf110C-4B
Bf110G-2
Boston Mk III
D3A1
F4F-4
FM-2
Ju88A-4
Ki-61-I-Tei
Ki-67
Me163
TBM-3
Tempest Mk V

All of these were added in later versions than v1.00.

v1.00 had:

B-17G
B-26B
Bf109F-4
Bf109G-2
Bf109G-6
Bf109G-10
C.205
C-47A
F4U-1C
F4U-1D
Fw190A-8
La-5FN
N1K2-J
P-51D
Spitfire Mk IX

Rapidly added in v1.01 were the P-38L and Spitfire Mk V and then so on and so on.

For some with low end systems, disabling bump mapping for planes, terrains and clouds can can improve their performance.

Looks very nice indeed.

However, I do think that B-26 needs to be transitioned to an A-26. Blood Pig'n (most fun in a game ever) must rise again! ;->

I'm hoping...

Would be awesome if they add some more ord options too, like the 900 liter drop tanks, MK 101/103 and BK 37.

Hitech,
I have an old mid range system, ati 5830, phenomIIx4 3.6GHz, 8 gigs of ram, can run the current version quite well, will it be able to run the new terrain engine without a very serious performance hit?
