Torpedo question
« on: January 11, 2014, 10:24:44 PM »
Another thread got me to thinking. What are the ranges of the torpedoes? Safe to say that if you see a bird on the deck of the CV and it shows an icon range of 6.0 you should be able to hit the ship, if aimed properly?

I know that axis and allied torps are different, but 6k isn't enough, befor they disappear. (It's a time thing for each)

I know that currently you can almost literally bomb the ship with a torpedo for it to damage it, IE: Don't drop until you almost fly into it (assuming you are skimming water).  Didn't aerial torpedoes need to travel x distance before it armed itself??? :headscratch:
