Skins not Downloading
« on: January 12, 2014, 01:34:15 AM »
Re-subbed today, skins don't seem to be downloading properly. Currently when I go into the hangar there is only one skin for each aircraft. Oddly, sometimes it is default and sometimes it is custom.
"Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture, torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals."

You have to stay connected long enough for the "skins.res" file to download and install, then you have to wait for the skins to download.  There are a lot of bomber skins, in the last batch, which take a long time to install due to their size.

Thank you! How long is it supposed to take though? I left it online several hours yesterday, and this is a broadband connection.

I figured it out, for some reason my skins folder had been set to read only.
