AH or WB?
« on: August 15, 2001, 07:44:00 PM »
I play AH because my friends are here.

A lot of the new players will be leaving friends behind in WB's.

Lets remember to be good friends in the arena.  Be helpful and courteous for all the newbee's.  Kill them, sure, but be polite while your doing it.

HTC is kicking butt and we can afford to be gracious and not crow over AH victories.  Act like you've just shot down Fester after a 5 minute one-on-one.  Sure you may have won, but it was a hell of a fight.

When I first started AH everyone was polite, helpfull and courteous.

A year has changed a lot of things in this community.

I for one will try to give back what I recieved.

When i started back a few months ago (before i delated my account) i was helped out alot by others on my side.
I try and help out as much as i can.

I couldnt even get my bird in the air so others helped me out and with out them i probably would have quit AH.

Currently I prefer AH, maybe it's just that I'm more familiar with AH than with WB. Anyway, I just play at local network, don't know how these work at the net (slow pings here  :( )

I'm sure everyone is trying to help newbies to learn to fly and fight in skies of AH but it getting old if you need to listen "HOW DO I TAKE OFF ????" or "HOW TO DROP BOMBS ??" night after the night after the night...

I'm sure everyone can find that help-section in HTC's website and read some manuals before.
When I came here first time I did read manuals and practised a little in OffLine before I went to the MA.

Oh and I also printed a list of "dot-commands too".
