First, who is FF?
Second, GV'ing has fewer kills/hr, true, but that doesn't mean that every second spent without firing your gun is a waste.
Third, many of the tankers wouldn't even have accounts if there weren't tanks to play in. It directly impacts you fly-boys minimally, if at all.
In fact, I would argue that all the tards trying to bomb GV's takes more people away from aerial combat than the GV'ing itself does. If you would self-police, and chastise those who GV bomb, refuse to help them in combat untill they knock it off, etc, you wouldn't have this problem.

Having given GVers a much closer examination in the last few months almost exclusively flying a Stuka and hanging out at spawns etc, the deal is this most GVers want to kill another GVer with as little chance of them dying as possible, not only that, they will sit around camping for extreme lengths of time, the vast majority of GV gameplay consists of 8 - 10 guys sitting around a spawn and one deluded soul spawing in again and again. I see this at least 2 3 times in the space of a night, if I switch country and go the other spawn...hey presto 4 to 5 guys camping it and every 5 minutes someone spawns in, these guys are not participating in combat, to me combat should be a situation were you should live by merit of your skill, otherwise whats the point, its simply text on a screen.
I agree completely with the bombers, but only because most carpet bomb in a gamey fashion, there is obviously skill to be had in bombing but simply dumping everything in low level rinse and repeat is gamey. Expecting to not get bombed in an airplane game is frankly delusional.
I would have a GV spawn set up like some kind of maze as cover for them spawning in with multiple exits, But I think you would find GVs much less appealing if there was a 50 50 chance to be killed.
