New Country - the Pawns!
« on: January 17, 2014, 12:14:05 AM »
Well... not really a country, but the ability to fly countryless. Nothing, and I mean nothing, sucks more than having tons of planes around but not being able to shoot them because they're on your country. Give us lunatics the ability to fly without any country colors so we can shoot everything!  :D :joystick:

From a ghostly aircraft carrier crewed by damned souls flying a Jolly Roger.

Holy crap!!

What field would you take off from? Air Launch at 15k 1 sector from the nearest con.

This could be good stuff!

LOL

This idea would have more merit if you had chosen the correct chess piece.  Pawn just does not sem to fit.

Your countryless country should be called the "Queens".

If memory serves, Macross?  Not an anime head, I just love the idea of a flying carrier.  Should've maybe gone with the invisible SHIELD thing from the Avengers.

Always like the idea that Pawns were sort of country less mercenaries who were doomed to always fight for the country with lowest population".......... being switched every #minutes

They should always carry the Pawn icon..... Which would be red or green appropriately......... But would earn double perks............

The cartoon is called Star Blazers in the US.  In Japan its "Space Battleship Yamato".  They made a live action movie of it about 6 years ago...and yes, the ship IS the WWII Yamato rebuilt as a space cruiser.
Going by "Hoplite" now. :)
