Autolanding
« on: January 17, 2014, 05:53:25 AM »
After hours of flying landing sometimes becomes a real burden, I wish that we have option for auto landing similar to auto take off or a `.land runway` command like `.land NE` (actually the code is already exists , you can observe it while landing your bombers, your drones will go auto landing mode as soon as you drop the gears)

of course should only work if the plane is not damaged.

Should do away with auto takeoff instead.

Perhaps along with auto-takeoff and auto-landing, we could add combat-autopilot. Then we could just sit back, drink beer and watch as the game takes off, fights, and lands for us.

for all those who ridiculed the subject if you read carefully you will realize that i am talking about an option, which means something u can turnoff/on if you don't want to use....
I rather like to sit back, relax and light a cigarette while my plane is landing in auto mode after a long sortie.

same goes for the auto take off if you don't like it just disable it that simple.  :bhead

:D :D :D :D :D :D     lol not bad of a idea considering the drones in offline missions are much better than most of the regular players.

Only if it disables the "Karnak landed 4 kills in a Mosquito Mk VI" message, doesn't count as a successful landing and doesn't give the 1.25 perk multiplier reward for a successful landing.

I say add it. The learning curve is steep, not everyone can grasp the principals of flight, acm, attacking, bombing, ect. It would ease a little pressure and be a tool to new players( could use more of those past two weeks)

On a side note would be and easy vulch lol, a non attentive pilot and a delay trying to get out of said auto pilot when u do come screaming down lol.

No way.  This takes away from the experience and a players interaction with the game.  Come on, we are talking about a couple of minutes of attention to land your plane.

I understand it is nice to step away from the computer from time to time for a break.  We have auto pilot and auto takeoff.  Can't you wait just a couple of minutes to land, roll auto and you can step away during climb out?

for all those who ridiculed the subject if you read carefully ...

I read carefully. Landing your plane is a burden. And in in your follow-up, it wastes valuable hands-free smoking time.

Again ...

Why are you convinced that I'm not understanding you? Are you not understanding that I do and I still disagree with you? Players can at least universally deal with the 'burden' of manually landing kills (or just landing). Methinks your own IQ sprung a leak.  :lol

What do you mean there is 'nothing to disagree with?' Do I need to color my post where I typed universally? Land your plane, dude. On a CV, even. Suck it up and light up. :D
