World War I arena

The WWI arena is great fun. If you can get over 10 guys in it, it's a blast. What's so sad is how lifeless the arena is. I barely ever see it with somebody in it. The WWI arena needs more attention. Add a new plane, rotate the map, etc.

I know Friday night is FSO so maybe we could do like Saturday night WWI night? Just a simple idea to attract more players to the fun that is the WWI arena.

I made a WWI terrain with trenches, no-man's land & all (WW1front, on the server) so the arena would have a second map for variety, but I couldn't get the powers that be the implement it, so we use it the AvA for WW1 weeks.

Liar, liar pants on fire.  When did you see 10 people in the WWI arena?  I've never seen (after the first year it existed) more than 2 or 3 people at a time , mostly the arena holds 0 when ever I sign on to play in the WWII arenas.

 well last week there was around 17 people in wwi, i jumped in and had quite a fun for about 2hours ... after that most of the players got bored and left to other arenas

You are entirely missing the point here aren't you? But, it wasn't too long ago. I logged on about 6/7 o clock and it had 12 people in it.

I saw over 10 once last week.  It's not that unusual.

I have to admit, I flew in this arena maybe 2-3 times when it came online..and then never came back....but the last 2 weeks I've followed some folks in and we've had 15-30 pile-its in there and it was a blast....dogfights last longer, everything is like slo motion...will definitely be going in more often.....

I love to see a better WWI arena with more bases , plane and viechle options.

i was in there last night for a little while, it was pretty awesome. 12 pilots!! almost like a hot night in the AVA!!

Didn't see this thread somehow...yes last night was a blast...if there is even one person in there when I log on I go there first...not that I don't enjoy the MA    but in the WWI arena the fights are pure, not corrupted by wirbles and bombers, you'll get the occasional HO/collide (Ok it happens with the same frequency as in the MA) but it's just downright fun

  I tend to jump into WW1 when the LWMA is resetting and many will follow when they see a few in there. Just make the count read 2 players at all time and they will come. 

  If we had some AI in ww1 that would be fun also.
