Most of my deaths this month were due to my plane catching fire.  Of course, it's at the wing root, which then promptly explodes and blows the wing off so I suppose you could say they are an example of wing loss.  :)
That was death #5.... 

Of course, the #1 bullet soak-er-upper seems to be the Cobia's A-20.  The force is strong in that one...

I wouldn't know....everything goes kaboomie when hit by four 20mm and two 30mm cannons.  In cobia's case, it's hitting him that's the problem....

The secret to any kills I get despite my vast lack of talent or skill is the aircraft with apparently the best combination of size, toughness, underestimation and fire power.....the f4f. My unsophisticated strategy is to soak up enough bullets and misses that the enemy gets impatient, sloppy, turny and stupid.  Unless its a zero and then my strategy is to pray for an even worse stick then me.
