Anyone else not getting kills ?

For the last few days, I thought the same thing.  I thought it was just one of those things as other posters have noted but they were getting difficult to explain away.

Also of late a higher number of planes disappearing then popping back up again a good ways away.  Not the usual warping. 

All this together sure seems to be at the same time of the wide spread bad weather.  My guess is it is not a bug, just ever changing internet conditions for the worse.

Anyone else shooting people down and not getting the kill or an assist ? Happened twice in one sortie today. Anyone have any ideas ?

I've also noticed that the .enablecloakingdevice command now only works when I'm flying inside a cloud.

Hlbly, I've noticed this too! The only time it really happeneds to me is when I shoot someone who is already being shot at. Like if a friendly and I are racing to get the kill and he drills them bably first then I put some shots into them, I'll notice I won't receive a kill or assist. It is very strange sometimes.

Lost packets my guess, the net is messed up big time, I have had more disco's in the last 2weeks of playing than I have had in the last 2 years of playing. Download the ping plotter and watch it for a wile, might help explain some of the issues.

Well my reply would not add to the discussion either ,so I edited. Not even close to the first time. I know if I am seeing others are to.

  Hlbly,I flew in the mains last night,ya I dont do it often but I noticed a couple strange things. A D9 was about 200 yds infront,then it was 1.5 K below and infront of me,at first I thought he discoed or ctd but that wasnt the case.


  Also after a certain critical amount of damage you cant get an assist,this was implemented way back to stop kill stealing as after a certain damage threshold any hits simply dont count.


   Maybe by april or may the internet will get straightened out in the USA!

I took apart a P-51 with a Yak the other day, I mean just demolished him, and someone else got the kill. Dont see how that could have happened even if he had sprayed him before because I just disintegrated the 51. But compared to other games this damage model has always seemed pretty fair.

     I wonder if it is linked to the kill bug. I was porkin some ords and a field gun got me then I exploded but got the landed successfully message.

Since I'm at work, I can't view the film but if you were to click on the plane (in the right menu showing the pilot/plane/range) that you shot at, it will jump you to that plane and you can see from his perspective.  Hop to his plane before you engaged him to see if anyone else might have scored hits on him before you.

Its a very short clip, like 20 seconds. Con in question is never engaged by anyone in the film other then hlbly.

A Pilot wound might figure in here.  You might blow up his plane but the pilot wounder would get the kill I would guess.

Watched the whole film ack. From his perspective. He was undamaged. In first engagement I watched him lift from his field. no one else but I engaged him. Same result.
