Kingdom Come

Holy crap, this is the game I think I've been waiting for all my life. RPG with combat drawn from historical Western sword arts rather than generic fantasy hack-and-slash? I think I'm going to need a few minutes alone, here.  :joystick:

kingdom come

saw the subject title and thought maybe the 80's rock band "Kingdom Come"  ( they sound nearly identical to Led Zepplin ) had returned once more or possibly had cut another album

bummer

They should smash their target. $500,000 by February 20th, and they're already over $400,000. I've donated. This game MUST happen.

Wow, this should hit its target by the end of the DAY. ~$5000 to go.

Looks like a game with TONS of potential. I'm definitely interested in giving it a try when they release it.

They met their Kickstarter goal, and raised over $500,000 in 36 hours. And still have 27 days left for the stretch goals.

So much for no one having an interest in the game.

They're working on their stretch goals now (the odd values are due to their goals being based on GBP):

$660,240 - In-game music recorded from historical Medieval works (already met)
$825,300 - Full orchestral score
$990,360 - Playable prologue/tutorial quest line featuring a female character who rescues the main player character (essentially an introduction/backstory they already have planned, only the player will get to do it themselves)
$1,155,420 - Performance motion capture, but full-body and face
$1,320,480 - TBD
$1,650,600 - TBD

The developers have already announced they'll be releasing modding tools for third-party content, but no word has been made yet about multiplayer. If it's not already planned, that could conceivably be one of the TBD goals.

I thought of that band also....but disagree with the whole "sound nearly identical to Led Zeppelin"   :old:

and hell ya this looks sweet :rock

cryengine.....cant get much better then that for a game engine....I've worked a bit in it...but think I am sticking to Unity for the Native Blender file reading.
