I wish I could tell you were I'd like to shove the 12hours rule, but it would be in a place most improper.

No it isn't.   The vast, vast majority are country loyal.

Yeah, this is true. But, how does basically forcing me to be country loyal improves the situation?

The Knights are rarely the high number team when I log on. Occasionally they are, but I don't dare switch from them to go to low numbers or fly with friends because I'll be stuck. The 12 hour has forced country loyalty on me.
"Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture, torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals."

I truly do not understand in any way the 12 hour rule.  To me it's completely arbitrary.  I've never seen another game in my life that restricted how often you could change sides, if you could change sides at all.

The only word I've seen out of HTC about it was that it was there to prevent major population swings.  I'm not quite sure how that's any different from people logging in or out at certain times en masse, but apparently it's somehow different and bad.

In any case if HTC agreed with any of the sentiments against it and had any inclination to change it, I'm sure they'd have done it by now so we're stuck.  They changed it if my fuzzy memory serves around 3 years ago and nothing that's been brought up against it has ever been acknowledged that I know of.

Just have AH apply the 12 hr rule only if you are switching to a side w/ more players... if side has less players AH should just let you switch... imho

As I said earlier Juggler, it's not uncommon at all to be the side with the lower numbers and nothing but green bardar available to you.  It's not perfect.

Yeah! That's true, but it might be better than what there is currently. Hell it might also "over time" lead to something better. It seems keeping the 12 hour rule as is, is "less perfect"
