kind of strange that no panther tanks or tank destroyers are on the axis side, they were a large part of the battle of the bulge....and how about skorzeny's special  op tanks? :headscratch:

I would like to do that, but I'm not well experienced in tanks.  I need some input on how to balance that.

For example, M18's on one side and Panthers on the other probably isn't balanced enough, or is it?

Airplanes can, but airplanes are enabled only during the 1st hour of the event.

Also, the airplanes will be needed to take out VH's and such, or a capture will be nearly impossible.  So I think they spend most of their time going after things other than GV's.

Just leave the Firefly's up to balance against the Panthers.

Are Fireflies nearly as good as a Panther, or is a Panther way better?

And how good is an M18 vs. Panthers?

Firefly's are slower speed wise with a slower recoil as well.  Armor and gun strength are close enough.  The M-18's much faster than the Panther with a similar recoil and gun but limited armor.  Any of these can kill the others.

If you're looking for true balance my guess would be 2 Fireflys for every M-18.  I'm guessing that in this scenario ground speed will play a role and M-18 vs Panther gives that edge to the M-18.  Firefly vs Panther gives the edge to the Panther.

I ended up enabling Panthers, M18's, Fireflies, Jagdpanzers, and Tiger I's for the whole event.  Seemed ok for balance.

So, how do we find out the results?
Flight Leader: "Bogeys at 2 o'clock!"
Wingman: "Roger, It's 1:30 now, what do I do 'til then?"
