Kind of do not understand the plane set. US stuff tops out at 1943. Japanese at 1945.

its a what if setup, not a actual planeset. the setup is called midwayII.

As the battles rage on, both sides have taken
their fair share of lumps. after several years
of rebuilding, both sides end up where it all
started but with a new set of weapons. Like two
prizefighters each retreating to their corner,
the 2 sides have spent the next couple of years
rebuilding their forces, setting the stage for
Battle of Midway II. will the tide turn for one
side or the other? only you can make it happen.

The P-47 Thunderbolt was not generally welcomed in the Pacific theatre. It was seen as too clumsy to compete with the very agile Japanese fighters and it did not have the range for operations over the vast expanses of the Pacific. Worse, the P-47 was best at the high altitudes at which American bombers operated over Europe. However, in Japan most combat occurred below 20,000 feet, where the P-47 was at its least manoeuvrable.

It was great to see you there and joust a few times. Especially refreshing to fly against someone who has more fight moves than just the "HO".   :aok  :salute
