Nice work, Pipz! :aok I really gotta get back into that. Bet I have close to 200 unbuilt kits I've accumulated, mostly 1/48 WW2 birds. Put all that stuff away when fatherhood hit. I figure when retirement hits I'll be at it full on. That's a few years out tho. The newer kits are nicely done with better detail. Also a lot more expensive, but then again what isn't?

Thanks fellaz! I havnt finished a kit in some time so it was nice to get one done. Flying it in AH motivated me. Zvezda a Russian company who makes the kit did a good job. Its a fairly new kit and it went together real easy. I think most modelers have a "stash" of kits. I prolly have around fifty waiting myself. It seems its a lot easier to buy them than it is to build them.  :old: Like Drano said they will always be there for when the opportunity arises.  :aok

That really depends on the manufacturer, and importing costs.

That Zvezda Yak-3 can be had for under $25 bucks, and it's decked out. Their 109F kits are simply the finest 109s in 1/48th scale, also under $25.

Nice job Pipz.  :aok

Thanks Devil! Sounds like you have done some model building yourself?
