Time is marching on and if you'd like questions tabled get them down :)

I'll be typing up many of these up to ask in the coming weeks.

Were there crews who were regarding as being "rougher" on the aircraft or others that were known to look after the aircraft?  Did this effect servicing and service life of aircraft and engine components?

damn, I got all excited over this, that it was in boston, then after doing research realized it was Boston England, not Boston MA! what a let down!!

did he feel their escorts kept them safe as they would like them to, or were they a disappointment?

also how did their escorts fly? right with them or above and behind?

were the ME109's and 190's as dangerous as they say? which one did he fear most?

Between my duties as Front of House, I managed to table some questions and film for a little.
Sadly I was pulled away from my seat to attend guests, so some of the stories were cut short.

Ralph is 90+ years old and still has his wonderful Jamaican accent even after 60 years in the UK.
So, here it is.

Shall enjoy watching that, thanks for putting it up.

I always thought I'd live in a house with rooms like that one, when I was all grown up...
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB
