obstacles on beaches

Hi everyone,I was thinking about this the other night in MW while taking a lvt to a town to capture the base and maybe its been asked for before,any reason there is no obstacles on the beaches themselves?Barbwire anything,machine gun nests,would add a little more realism to the game,and as far as a little eye candy it wouldnt hurt,just wondering..thanks
