It would be easier just to disable the Windows key on your keyboard. There are four methods to do it.
1) Buy a keyboard with the feature to disable the Windows key
2) Go to Microsoft's
"Fix It" site and click on the "Disable Windows Key" button to have it automatically done for you
3) Or you can disable the key manually by following the steps listed below.
CAUTION- Don't try this if you're not confident in editing registry files.
4) Use the "Caldera Method" and take a flat head screw driver and rip out the Windows key and fling it out the window while cursing MS and Bill Gates.
To disable the Windows key, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, click Run, type regedt32, and then click OK.
2. On the Windows menu, click HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE on Local Machine.
3. Double-click the System\CurrentControlSet\Control folder, and then click the Keyboard Layout folder.
4. On the Edit menu, click Add Value, type in Scancode Map, click REG_BINARY as the Data Type, and then click OK.
5. Type 00000000000000000300000000005
BE000005CE000000000 in the Data field, and then click OK.
6. Close Registry Editor and restart the computer.
