Anybody know the Polish language?
« on: February 20, 2014, 10:48:34 PM »
I'm trying to find out more about my great grandfather. He came to the US in the early 1920's. I have his passport, which is written in both Polish and German. I'm having a ton of trouble reading his hand writing. So far I think I know that he was born in 1879 in Brzozów? He was a Lt. Korporal in the army(Astro-Hungarian?) in Przemyśl between 1913-1921? I can't read/understand what the unit is.
Could anybody please help me translate some of this? I don't want the entire thing translated, just some info about what is on each page.

Pg.1 Pg.3 Pg.5 Pg.7 Pg.8 Pg.9 Pg.28

Google translate may get some of it right.  :D

Some of page 3 seems to be enlistment paper as the header says if I'm translating right: The landsturm duty until the end of the year, duty service in the common militia last until end of year.

Need a good Polish reader to get it all.
