Edits to a webpage very often come with a log of all the happenings and edits of content, times dates and login name.
Any chance of seeing what or whom tampered with my PMIndex?
I assure you am insulted by it by the power of 10 to how you feel about this.

We had nothing to do with it.  There is no way for us to know because we do not log anything to do with the personal message box of the community.

I guess my offer of doing one in the end fell on deaf ears, as well as offering my input on previewing and critiquing the ad.

The interesting thing is, that my PMInbox had the whole conversation.
Looking at this film made me go back and check to see what I had said in full. I say had because I know I didn't remove it, yet it has been deleted and not by myself. Personal messaging tampering and deletion very possibly by HTC/Skuzzy.

I can't express my disappointment in words, but I am utterly dismayed. And therefore I have no opinion

You have to check a box to save your outgoing PMs... Only the incoming PMs are saved automagically. I know it is annoying, but it is in no way "tampering" by anyone.

...

As for the ad... wait until you've updated the gfx, and get someone competent to do it, or the community. No offense intended.

Yeah... the add is flat.  I suppose it could be jazzed up, but I'm not sure what I'd leave and what I'd cut.

Users create a lot of content for this game, so I see no reason why they shouldn't do some advertising.  I vote Dolby.   :aok

Skuzzy, I love Aces High but I'm afraid that ad isn't going to get new customers.

1. Don't tell them the game is 14 years old. People want the new and greatest thing unless they work in IT and know that older is more reliable.

2. Don't show the viewers the OLD cockpits! It may garner returning players it won't net you any new players.

3. With the B17 film at the end it may leave the player feeling it is controlled like Eve starships; point and click.

4. Put more excitement into the ad, the old ads you played on the Military Channel were better.

To be blunt, I have a 3 year old son I want to play Aces High eventually and I want the game to last long enough for him to enjoy it.

Here's an idea. Why don't you hire a professional to create an advertisement for you?

I found the "story board" concept interesting albeit a bit too aloof for your target audience. The essence of the game isn't conveyed. What about updating the Military Channel spots you ran a few years back?

It was extremely difficult to listen to Barney Fife and Bullwinkle....While I liked the concept, everything else was an epic fail. :headscratch:
