Dar Bars are broken (PROOF!)

If a dar bar appears as Im approaching a enemy airfield i look to my high 6.

There are times when I can see a darbar in a sector and some of my squaddies can't, and vice versa.

This happened to me the other day. I was doing a fightersweep with a fellow countrymen who kept insisting there was a growing bardar in the sector next to us, of which I could not see on my map. We went over and checked, and sure enough, his darbar was correct, and mine was still showing nill. Wasn't thinking quick enough to take a screenshot. It was like 4am.

Just in case more proof is needed. That blue dot SE of A112 is a squadmate who is currently flying over the top of 15 sets of B17s currently at 3-4K. I see very little to no dar bar at all. Everyone else in the squad is claiming to see little or no dar bar as well.




This is how close I had to get before the dar bar finally displayed correctly.




And there's the bombers at about 8K still displaying little or no dar bar for squadmates further away.

Could it have just been lucky timing as the strats are just of the coast and they were getting hit all night. Dar was down and rebuilding as you closed? You screen captures don't show any other "dots" or bars anywhere.

I see dar bars in both pics.

I would not make excuses for this bug.  Its been talked about for years now.

I am one of the other squaddies, it went down as told.  Grizz was with the bombers the whole time and showing a full dar on his map, none of us were showing anything more than the smallest slice of dar bar possible until we got close to or within dot vis range.

That seems to be the behavior.  I've had similar things happen with squaddies in the past.  Guys calling out bandits, I don't see it on bardar for minutes until I get into something resembling dot range.
