If you need to switch sides more than once per 12 hours, then you made a rash decision without observing the dynamic of the arena.

Log in, tour a few bases, and check eny before you decide to switch sides.

Generalization.

When the arena crashes from 350 players down to 40 there's no way ANYONE can reliably predict the balance shift.   And it is 0300 USA with five hours left on the timer.  No fights.  Log.

I miss flying with my friends on the Rook and Bishop sides.  :cry This 12 hour rule is crushing.

We don't miss you or your incessant rampant whining about the 12 hour rule.

How bout this every time you switch sides you loose your perks and your score starts over? It surley isn't fair for you to come fly with us, the rooks, and collect all those perkies and turn around and use them against us an hour later.

12 hour rule should be 24 hours or a month/camp.

Then you wont have to worry your pretty little head about it.

This comment amuses me considering how receptive you were to the idea of tank busters costing the same number of perks as a Tiger II at a Vbase.  ;)

And since when do you speak for the entire population of your native chess piece?

The one problem with that is not every squad out there is a war win squad. The are probably just as many squads who prefer to furball as there are squads who want to win the war. The Muppets for an example, I know we have people in our squad scattered across all three countries at times. Because we want to spy? No. Because we want to win the war? No. It's because everyone in our squad wants to fight/furball, so we switches sides to fight other hordes, or just fight each others.

Your idea is a good thought though and thinking of fixes for our 12 hour rule is better than the people claiming it should be higher to stop "Ze Spying!"  :aok

latrobe, grizz was famous for switching sides just to get a kill.  more than a few times I would see him landing at a base that had buffs taking off then you would see him switch sides and come back in 262's to get more kills.

more than a few times a couple  of muppets would organize a mission to some base then they would bail and come back in 262's on the opposite side.

that was a lame, and I am glad there isnt a one hour switch time anymore.

I never switched all that much when the time was short and now I never switch so for the most part I don't have a "horse in this race", but I'm curious why your so dead set against it and would be happy to see the time increased. What do you think is the problem that the 12 hour rule fixes?

Just curious.

I think semp explained it short and sweet above and I would be fine if it was a month, I don't see any value to the griffers... never have, not going to change.

That's because it doesn't affect you.  A lot of us see the world differently.    Come hang out at 3 am in the MA with no fights sometime.  Maybe you like that.   If that's the objective perhaps we should call it "GVs Low" or "MS Flight Simulator - Nothing to Shoot Combat Version."

There are valid reasons to allow players to switch to the low side, particularly when the arena is almost empty.
