I was looking through some shots and thought this would be nice to have.

Lead bomber of the 441s Bomber Squadron, 320th Bomber group, "Bashful Baby", made distinct by its dark blue tail. It also had the extra armour added on both sides of the cockpit to protect the pilots.

Very nice. One thing I'd adjust though, the red on the cowl ring is too bold IMHO. Try graying it out by 10%, should blend better into the rest of the skin.

Yeah, the color definitely seems off somehow. They would most likely have used insignia red (RGB 163, 43, 37), while the color here looks much darker than that.

Nice skin FTJR. I'd have said the red in the photos was a bit brighter and less orange than you've got it if anything.

Mate, the Aircraft in Action book, p37 in Scribd has the same picture and it is describes as a Blue tail (sorry the link is on the other pc)
