The 422nd Night Fighter Squadron was based in the UK and equipped primarily with the Northrop P-61 Black Widow. As there there were not enough P-61s to go round the squadron was also given a number of A-20Gs to make up the numbers. These were used for intruder missions and sometimes to drop flares for the artillery. From February 1944 USAAF's ETO-based olive drab and grey night fighters were gradually repainted to an all-over gloss black scheme as testing had shown this was the least reflective finish when illuminated by a searchlight.
Thanks to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this aircraft. There is a colour photo of it
here.
The AH A-20G is a very old AH1-era shape and so lacks stuff like a bump map, a spec map and a material file. The pilot vanishes when viewed close up and it has a low poly count, as well as numerous patched, distorted and stretched areas. OTOH the shape is pretty accurate and it has a high surface resolution.
