Psh. Spend a year in St. Louis, this pretty much DEFINES the weather here.

I remember being 3-4 sitting by my dad's shed watching the 4th of July fireworks in snow.

It was a cold summer, I really hope that doesn't happen here.

The last week of Feb and the first week of March was murder here in South Dakota.  It has been a long cold winter, no doubt.  It makes appreciate spring, summer, and fall that much more.

Thankfully, the temps are all in the 40's, 50's, and 60's (Fahrenheit) in the upcoming weeks.  I just may get the Triumph out and take it for a spin rather soon.   :aok

Yikes.  Where was that?

Michigan, lived on 200 acres of farmland.  Where I lived I could see Devil's Lake's Fireworks, and two small neighboring villages' fireworks Onsted & Hudson.

Was pretty cool, could launch fireworks for about 2-4 hours after watching everyone else launch theirs. Since we lived in the middle of a farming community, many others had plenty of space to launch their fireworks. The 4th of July there was non-stop fireworks for nearly 10 hours. Each of the 'major' firework launchers (Devil's Lake, Onsted & Hudson respectively) would launch a few minutes from each other. So there was always fireworks going on, and occasionally a neighbor would launch a bottle rocket between the 'main event'.

Was very fun being there as a kid.

You must live in a humid state. In the northern rockies a 50 degree drop in summer is called night time.
