Since using the rearm pad is not considered a new sortie each time you use it, there really is no reason to delay things.  All you should have to do is fly over it and you are automatically re-armed! 

Better yet, might save time just to fly over it and enter in how many kills you will be landing with.

Even if rearming in 30s + fuel isnt 100% realistic, at least it looks more than if we had Mario Kart pads... After this, will u wish Turbo-boosters pads added so u can take off in 5 sec after ur flash refuelarm ?

I use it  when hangers are down.  I could see the time going up but not down.  Too gamy to make it a fly over.

The rearm pads, while slightly gamey, are somewhat useful when your field's been hit, and I think they're a good thing for FSO.

Besides, the fly-through ones are already in game.  If you go through one of the silver quonset huts inverted with your wings exactly level at 213mph, you will instantly rearm/refuel.

A pilot is faced with a risk decision when considering the use of the rearm pad i.e. land kills to get credit, or go to rearm pad, roll dice you dont get killed by a vulcher or GV and reupp.    The risks to the pilot would be greatly reduced if we followed this suggestion....which would increase the use of rearm pads. 

I think this is a very bad idea.
