That is why I said that this was MY wish as it pertained to ME.  But, what he is saying is that he was already billed for that month, meaning he believed he should be able to continue flying until that pay period.

I'm not so sure this comparison is correct.

You pay 15$ in advance for one month playing AH. While it may tell you when you cancel that there's still X days left, it's kinda strange (mildly said) the account is terminated immdeately (and dropping all your remaining time) instead of ending access on the day the subscription actually runs out.
I admit I haven't played that many online games with a subscription, but everyonee I did was handling things that way - you retain your access for the while time period you had payed for. I was very surprised (to word it mildly) AH did handle the things differently. Also anything I have ever subscribed to beyond online games was handling things like that.

AH could use a much better handling of these things, inclusive an interface where you can look up more details like when your next billing happens or how much time you have left after canceling subscription.

I agree lusche, but I simply have not had the time to implement it the system where you account is closed on it's bill date. At some point I also wish to change over to the now normal email for account id.

Not really imo.  It does warn you that your account will be permanently deleted.  I agree with Lusche that it is not an ideal setup.
