I thought about it but the only time you would use is off a cv and in real life I dont know if it could survive the ocean.

but then again if we could have bases with rivers around I would be all for it

It's not German but it is a jeep and it was amphibious.  It was used in the Salerno beach landings on Sicily.  This is a picture of them cruising around Detroit's harbor.

I'd like to see HTC put some time in to adding some variants of the SdKfz 251 before adding in the "Thing".
