I know HTC has a lot on their plate, but one has to wonder why this version was not added when they remodeled the Stuka not all that long ago???

Probably because it would have made the D-3 obsolete.  Players would take the D-5 over the D-3 because of the cannons.  I am surprised though that we didn't get a B series Stuka when the Stuka was updated, it would have been great for scenarios.

But then we'd have a complaint thread about the siren before the day ended... :noid

The most lopsided interception and fight that I have ever had in AH was intercepting a Ju87D-3 in an A6M3.  The A6M3 just felt so immensely powerful and fast in comparison that it really felt like pure hunter vs prey.

I doubt the Ju87D-5 would have changed that a whit.

And that is why it was a D-3 to begin with. It could be used in place of B models in scenarios. An initial B model would have certainly meant that they were going to make later models too, now we have one which is somewhat representative for both Bs and Ds (and could be used to make the G).

I'd like to have D-5 because of MG151/20s, though. It is not a "Zero interceptor" but at least it could do something if it gets that one snapshot chance.

They are very turkey machines and with cannon would  :aok a little scary. Seems like Ju87s were basically out of the picture in LWWII regardless. Would be a fun m3 killer in MA fantasyland though +1
