Memory upgrade and Vid card upgrade,,

Well with Uncle Sam paying me back i am looking at upgrading my vid cards and memory.

I curently have 3 sticks of this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231310 I had 4 but one went bad. 12 gig total right now, I know i can OC it but i dont want to go into that and burn up my rig...

I would like to stay with Nvidea for vid cards as i am running triple screen and it is easier to set up than ATI.

lawn, I dont think you gonna see an improvement on eye candy.  you should already be maxed out.  however you can buy better monitors .

It's going to start an argument again, but. .

Anything beyond 1600MHz in memory is only going to show up in specific benchmarks, so 2133 memory is not going to add much. I still support the move to 16GB of memory, though.

The only reason I would change from your current video card to the new one you chose is for three monitor support. That said you will see an improvement on anisotropic filtering, but on the single monitor it will not really make much difference.

So what you are saying is to go with the memory but go with ips monitors?? Any hints on which ones to b go with?? I want to get the best look without going over budget.

Typical users do not need an IPS monitor. IPS would generally benefit someone that is into animation creation, for instance, as a profession. At the consumer level there really is no benefit, except slightly (up to greatly) improved color referencing and wider viewing angles. Moving from 1333 memory to 1600 memory would give you more benefit, and that's not much. If it were me (and I am not really sure about your MB/CPU except if it is 4.0 GHz it should be fine as is) then I would consider the memory second and get a 780 GPU first, especially if your PSU can handle that without also needing to be replaced. Or, just save back the extra money and get the 770 and see if that alone makes you happy, because it should.

My PSU is no problem.. its a seasonic 1300 watt.. so my original plan might work out... and u was planning on the dual 770 cards also. But I will look into the 1600 speed rangebforr memory.

I think you will be happier with the 1600 memory, as you already mentioned that overclocking makes you a little nervous. Anything higher than 1600 will require overclocking the memory controller, so if you were overclocking the CPU then you would look for a memory module that matches your targeted overclock. Otherwise, stick to the maximum non-OC rating. People will tell you that a 2133 is a mild overclock, but you can also read through the boards and see the number of OC users that have replaced their hardware after failures occurred.

First, what you cannot tun with double 570s? Those are ~on the same level as the GTX-660, upgrading to 760s wouldnt really add too much to the performance, compared to their price.
Then, DDR-1600 is enough for everything. Get 16 gigs and youre good to go for the next 3-4 years.
Double 770s arent bad at all, but please do some research about how the SLI is scaling on the games you would like to play. Also, would consider buying double R9-290s, or one GTX780.
Also as much as im an AMD fanboy on the VGA side, i would recommend to get an i7. Not sure if that 8350 is enough for that SLI setup.

SLI is feasible only in two scenarios:

1) You already own a 770 and want to get more performance without selling your old card
2) You buy double GTX780ti:s for maximum performance because one is not enough. (and you're either rich or slightly insane).

A single card will always be more reliable performer. Some games may have abysmal SLI scaling leading only to 10% return on your investment.

if 2 cards arent much faster than the quickest single gpu on the market, always choose the single one. I have no idea about the 2*770s vs one 780ti, thats why i said, please research before choosing.

The reason why I want to run 2 on SLI is due to the fact i am running a triple screen setup and it is easier to run 3 monitors off 2 than to run 3 off 1. But right now I am putting the gun on "safe" and seeing if the change in memory will help. I will then run the system for the time being and go from there.

*side note*

I did purchase a 120 gig ssd for the operating system. So I am coming into the present slowly but surely.

Right now I have the 2 side monitors using monster DVI cables and the center monitor using HDMI. So the cables are no problem. I was just thinking on upgrading the system but after looking into it I decided to make changes 1 at a time, instead of all at once.

I hope you didn't pay much more than 10 bucks a piece for the 'monster' dvi cables.
