Land a plane with no elevators but intact stabs.

Last night while bashing a town I got my elevators shot off by the ack. I was thinking about just bailing until I remembered that landing a plane without elevators was an achievement.
(I think no ailerons should be an achievement too, along with no ailerons and no elevators LOL)

But anyway I bring my bird home by rolling constantly as I'm always pulling up, make a long slow approach and manage to get my crippled jug on concrete. I click end sortie and nothing???
So I look through the achievements thinking maybe I did it already and see that the stabs have to be intact too(one of mine was missing)  REALLY?!?!?! Why the added requirement of intact stabs?

I want one where you break every part of the plane (excluding the pilot) and land successfully

Who runs the achievement department? 

- No flaps - trivial in most of cases
- No ailerons - not a big problems as well (as long as you have effective rudder)

The real challenges are:

- No elevators
- No half a wing

Flew a B17 back 2 sectors after dealing with pickers with no ailerons, elevators and 1 flap while gunning the entire time, that's how I got the achievement  I also flew a lanc back to base with no wing tips, a PW, and 1 stab left after making a low alt run on a CV. Not that should be an achievement

Flew a 262 with no left wing for 5 sectors , that should be an achievement in its self but no stabilizers on top of that ....       when rolling on landing almost to a stop I flipped it and died instantly and 20 miles an hour......

Got this today in B-26. And it just proved how unrealistic the flight caracteristics are in the game.  Did a very long final but it was one of my best landings in the game.  W/o control surfaces the plane should be unflyable.

I got mine in b29s after descending too quickly and shedding the tail feathers at 425 ias. In fact I lost the ailerons too and only had rudder and throttles to maneuver and land with. Wife wasn't impressed

On a related note, i got a little exuberant while chasing a porker and couldn't follow his negative G maneuver:





Duke Nukem voice - "Yeah, piece of cake."  Corsairs have flying saucer-like handling anyway, so any two weeker could have pulled this off.

I flew a P-38 a sector and a half with no vertical stabs.  Crashed on the runway and slid into the grass, but It's a landing in my book.
