Not sure if it is rugged enough for me.

Just more proof the .50s in Aces High are nerfed.

Had that been in game the Galaxy S5 would have sustained light damage and successfully landed.  ;) :D :neener:
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I'm just got the S5 have nothing to complain about yet. It's got the quad prosser. And it can go in water for like up too 30 min or so is what I was told don't remember the depth.

The Galaxy S5 is water resistant with an IP67 rating.  30 minutes at one meter submerged. :aok

I had an old Audiovox phone that would have definitely shrugged that 50 cal off.   :rock

If you want indestructible you need this.

Forget .50 rounds, this will shrug off an RPG. I hear NATO is considering replacing the ERA blocks used on their tanks with these.

You might as well leave it under water if it's as good as my daughters Xcovery. You couldn't run most of the apps on it because they would only see the built in memory and not able to use the memory card. My kid was totally disappointed in the phone, now she has an old iPhone and she loves it. It can run nearly every app in the store despite being many years old already.

I've had the S4 since it was put on the shelf.  I plan on getting the S5 eventually.

I got the S4 Active which apparently became more popular than Samsung expected. I read it inspired the "ruggedized" direction the S5 went. I'm not too sure sure my definition of rugged is the same as theirs but it's held up well so far which has included my Bullmastiff pup having a go at it. I like the dust protection and fact it can get wet but I won't be submerging it on purpose. I hope this eventually leads to a truly rugged/waterproof smartphone at some point.
