50+ years ago I was in 1st grade in Luton England. I was constantly in trouble when it came to anything taught about currency. I was convinced the Pound meant a Pound and not a primary denomination of currency like the dollar. A year later I was in Pakistan and being only 6, was convinced the rupee was a dried fruit.

Ahhh for the days when we traded pies for services and goods.

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.

it's about 1\8 of a meat pie.

About 1/8 of a meat pie per day, or about 3 meat pies per month, or 0.004 meat pies per hour.  (At least at the local rate of a meat pie being about $5.)

Don't worry.  There is no inflation.

I look at it this way.  My waistline is increasing, but I'm losing brain mass, so it evens out.

One of these days, I'm going to eat a meat pie while playing Aces High.  Zack will be jealous.

I actually said that to my doctor.  She just glared at me.

Oh,..here is a tip.  Never piss off your doctor when she is about to give you a complete physical.  Oh yeah,...don't do it!

I laugh more than most people know about.  It really is hard to get under my skin.  It challenges some people more than they would like.

I really do not think it would phase my doctor one bit.  She is from the Bronx.

If anything, she would look and say, "You think a lot with this don't you?"

Hey, good idea.  I think I'll go for Chatanooga Tennesee (reference to an old joke I no longer remember).
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.
