Anyone noticed the engine is mounted with quite a bit of left hand direction to it?

I could have gone the rest of my life not hearing that.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Never-the-less, your life is richer for it. Maybe not. Hopefully not poorer. Don't taze me, bro.

Now that we have the willy jokes out of the way......... We see mounting angles of incidence in the Spit14 nose down of the griffon engine and the F6f R2800. The idea that a 1050hp engine needs that much left hand incidence to counter torque. That version of Gnome is only a bit hotter than the version in the Hs-129.

The MB 150 was the original test of concept.

MB.150

Single MB.150.01 prototype powered by a single Gnome-Rhône 14N-07

The MB 152 C was the production aircraft.

MB.152

MB.152.01 prototype and MB.152.C1 up-rated production versions produced in parallel with 151.C1, powered by 1,050hp Gnome-Rhône 14N-25 engines. (482 built)

There were less than 40 of any subsequent versions produced.
