I often wonder if it ( my longevity here ) is "normal". The Mem Sahib has her own opinions.

Still never goin to reach Heater status..........

We can only have so many putzes.

Maintaining that balance takes a lot of effort.

Sadly this is probably true. I think its a bad image for new comers to look into the forums and see nothing but drama in the 2nd most posted in forum on this BBS.

oddly- i think new prospects would be in courious to see what the fuss is all about.

"Curious" is not the word that comes to mind with the responses I get from newbies who think about attending our forum.  I would settle for "curious" though.  It would be a big step up from what they currently think.

What if HTC just got rid of the General Discussion forum?

That would suck.  This forum is a lot of fun.  But for anyone who doesn't think so, they can easily not visit it.

The majority of the posts are either moved, locked, or ankle humping one person or another as it is.

Those are actually a small minority of all posts.

Much of the "noise" in the General Discussion forum would disappear if people would read the forum descriptions and post in the proper forum right out of the gate.


Can I be a putzhole?
