Sorry to hear about your loss LeDragon.
It's the shortest most rewarding relationship we'll ever have. When the time is right, you'll figure out to open yourself up to it again.
We had a 4yr old choc lab we had to put down due to osteosarcoma, tried everything we could, vet-neurologist said it was the 2nd youngest dog he'd ever encountered it in. Terrible, she should still be here today re: ~normal longevity.
Been through it so many times, it always hurts bad, and I will always do it all over again.
Not much is more rewarding than your buddy is happy to see you, only you, everyday and doesn't matter what type of day your dog had.
