Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.

Meanwhile at the gathering of the Nimrods the crowds have started to gather.

All hail the Nimrods.

Yes :aok
40mm instead of the Ostwind 37mm was also meant to be a Tank destroyer & did so until the T-34 came along. This would be an early war vehicle it predates the Ostwind & Wirbelwind. It also shot rocket grenades & used AP rounds along with HE like the Ostwind we just don't have that option in AHII.

Since there is no Axis AAA vehicle in early war it would be a nice addition & could hold its own in late war as it did in real life until the Hungarians quit.

For Early War, indeed, it would be an asset.

the 40M should be more useful and deadly than the Ostwind, it has a significantly higher muzzle velocity and better ballistic.

Sounds like it should have been a Marx Brothers film.

Did you ever find one of this still on display, or even better: one that might be running?

Two total left one in a Russian museum & the Hungarians have restored one I think to running condition.

The Russian one looks to have had a new coat of paint applied recently.

Since the all white scheme it had.

The Hungarian Nimrod sat outside for decades here is a few old photos of it then.

Now.
