This would be nice

In the next update with all the cool stuff being added, it would be great to add a dust or dirt. Like when flying really low u can see the dust rising up and pushing away from the props of the plane. Also do this for the water also. I think it will look kool.

This would play into particle effect.

Particle Effect would hurt the frame rate of many players with older systems.

Understand that we couldn't simply turn it off because it would hinder the users by getting dust on their canopy, while a person with a system unable to support high level particle effects would be harm free.

A nice sized portion of players have older systems that don't run as well, and so if things like this were made mandatory HTC may loose some customers.

You really ought to migrate yourself over to the World of Warcraft forums.  Your kind of imbecility is rampant there.  You'd fit right in.

I really don't want to considering I don't play that game. In that case, what do I do now? Sit here and listen to you, a person who knows nothing about me yet thinks he does by saying things like "Your kind of imbecility is rampant there?" I think not.

So sure I'm not sure how this all works and how it effects systems, I'm just saying what I think I know about this to try and make a contribution. And what contribution does an insult make to this thread?

None of us will know anything until the next version is released.

Making wishes against it before knowing how Hitech will implement it, and it's limitations is foolish. Some of the new players wishes pre "next release" are along the lines they think Hitech is recoding to make the arena's look like IL2 and War Thunder. Unless you are being leaked info by Hitech to keep us talking about the next big thing as a passive PR campaign.

Which is more foolish. Making wishes thinking you know the future. Defending against that. Or attacking someone in the face of knowing no one has a clue what the future will really look like.

Wait until Hitech gives you guys the new toy. Then bash each others brains out with it.

You'll have to pardon Karnak.  He was born crotchety.  It isn't his fault.

I don't have a problem with Karnak. I for one think he's a pretty nice guy.

I agree with Karnak on this one, let me give you some background on Warcraft, when it first come out my laptop played it with 60fps and Aces High 40fps on full graphics. Few years later, Warcraft played with 60fps and Aces High was 15fps. I had absolutely no settings on,
everything was turned off and Aces was barely getting going. The common argument was " HTC may loose some customers." as you put it.

Actually HTC is pushing the game forward, newer graphics and new things coming out, it might still be a few years behind the latest game graphics out there, but this is because he does cater to older machines.
If I can manage over 15fps in all combat then you have no excuse to why you couldn't do the same, I did this for many tours even ranked #1 in fighters and GV's many times with this. I frankly got tired of it and bought a bran new system because my laptop started bugging out on me.

Aces High isn't jumping any leaps with the Graphic updates, if you can't spare a few hundred per year in upgrades, then its probably time to look into Facebook games rather. I could of spent less than a $1,000 and got a decent system, I blew $1,400 and got a rock'n system that still
gives me max frames in game with all settings on with a 30inch monitor, and I haven't even played the game in over a year on a two year old system.

I'm sorry I didn't upgrade sooner, there is no reason other then you want an excuse to quit.
