Bugs, glitches and apparently some hacking in Aces High
« on: April 27, 2014, 05:41:00 PM »
There seems to be a lot of bugs or hacks in Aces High. Considering the fact our squad 162nd Purple Hearts experiences a lot of incidents it would seem investigating is in order. We all have been playing and paying in Aces High for quite a few years. We enjoy the people who play and pay and seem to be more mature and mission oriented than the free games now offered. The frustration level is rising and you can ask for replays which we don't always have, but sooner or later if the format changes in the other games, you may have a decrease in paying customers. Cliffs of Dover is free to play, but much harder to get in, and much harder to keep the plane up. World of Planes and World of Thunder have the sit on top of the cockpit which is less desirable than here. We can put up with it for a while but it gets aggravating. The other games cost nothing to put up with the bugs and hacks but there doesn't seem to be many. Just a lot of immaturity and kiddies. As a company you can do as you wish and of course paying customers have to be dealt with, but you are informed of the frustrations.

You can report the bugs that are frustrating you here. Describing how to duplicate the bug is very helpful. If you have film that can also be helpful.

Bugs can be found in ANY software. Pointing them out with as much detail can aid HTC in fixing them fast. They are very good responding to bugs and are very quick with a fix.

As for hacks most can be explained as you not understanding how some things happen. To you it looks like a hack, to others its a lot of practice in learning how to fly these cartoon planes.

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

This really has little to do with the bug forum.

Just because you see something you do not understand, does not mean there is not an explanation.  Yes, films are the best and only tool a player has to get that to us.

Be happy to review any film.

Ever try driving into a car repair shop, telling them your car is pissing you off and tossing them the keys and leaving?  Pretty good chance they are not going to be able to do anything about it.
